IMeBIO labs are now present in Colombia with the 1st eDNA laboratory in the country.

We continue to increase the presence of our laboratories around the world serving different applications, this time for Biodiversity. A few days ago, we had the opportunity to install the 1st eDNA laboratory in the country in the presence of the French Ambassador Mr. Frédéric Doré, local authorities and INVEMAR.

Colombia, a country rich in natural resources and biodiversity with one of the highest number of species per km² and access to both the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea was the ideal scenario to install the IMeBIO plug-and-play BSL-2 laboratory for biodiversity analysis and conservation, integrating eDNA new technologies for sampling and monitoring.

This laboratory will provide greater regional independence in the treatment of corresponding samples, always meeting the highest standards in terms of quality and safety, eliminating the possibility of contamination both for the environment and the people working inside the laboratory.

Thanks to Spygen for making us part of this project.
